The motion to introduce the ordinance was made, seconded and approved on a roll-call vote (Commissioner Langra, Commissioner Mento and Mayor Creable voting yes). No public hearings or adoptions occurred that night; the item was introduced for subsequent hearings and formal adoption processes.
Mayor Creable told the commission to expect two more bond ordinances in the coming months: one for public works/general capital and equipment purchases and a separate one for water and sewer utility needs. The commission did not adopt funding authorizations beyond introduction at this meeting.
Next steps: the ordinance will move through the formal statutory introduction and public-hearing schedule prior to any final adoption and bond issuance.
