Katie Guzzo announced a May 16 clean-up at the 9-1-1 Memorial Park beginning at 9:00 a.m. and said construction of a museum at the park is set to begin soon, thanking local contractors and volunteers. Trustees also presented proclamations recognizing Safety Services that responded to the Phoenix House explosion and honored Austintown Fitch High School teacher James Fisher and skilled-trades students for building picnic tables and benches donated to the township park.
Trustees did not take formal action on the public commenters’ requests during the meeting but recorded the complaints for staff follow-up.
