Medina County commissioners approve Cobblestone Park Subdivision replat

Planning Services Director Denise Testa presented and reviewed Resolution 26-0343, which would adopt the replat as recommended by the Planning Commission. Commissioner Stephen D. Hambley moved to approve the resolution; Commissioner Colleen M. Swedyk seconded the motion.
Commissioner Hambley thanked staff and others involved for their work and collaboration, saying the board had worked to expedite the project while following proper procedures and that the approval would allow the project to move forward during peak building season. Commissioner Swedyk said it was “exciting to see the project progressing” and noted the replat’s potential positive impact for veterans in the region.
On the roll call for the resolution, Hambley and Swedyk voted AYE and Commissioner Aaron M. Harrison abstained; the motion carried, approving the replat. The resolution is recorded as Resolution 26-0343.
Shortly after the approval, Commissioner Hambley moved to adjourn the special meeting; Commissioner Harrison seconded. All commissioners voted AYE on the adjournment motion and the meeting ended at 2:36 p.m. The minutes record that all deliberations occurred during an open public meeting on May 7, 2026.
