Members discussed logistics for staffing events (favoring Saturdays and high-traffic venues such as Sandlot soccer games) and noted the uncertainty of final fundraiser dates; organizers said they will confirm when the host group finalizes plans.
The discussion concluded with members agreeing to coordinate inventory and event staffing ahead of the celebration and to publicize opportunities for volunteer help. The commission set the next regular meeting for June 4.
