Engineer assessment cited for Dorothy Drive; council asks for second review

Grounds Supervisor Kenny Brenton reported crews are repairing portions of Dorothy Drive and plan to level the surface once the repairs settle. Alderman Breshears said he wants a second assessment from Forsgren and questioned the width of the ditch adjacent to the roadway, suggesting additional ditch work is needed.
No formal motion to accept the assessment or to fund further work was recorded at the meeting; Alderman Breshears said he will contact someone at Forsgren to obtain a second opinion. The matter remains open as unfinished business.
