Council names new dog park 'Plain City Pup Park' and schedules ribbon cutting after grass establishes

Councilmember Aaron Lewis moved to support the recommendation to name the dog park "Plain City Pup Park," seconded by Councilmember Jamey Sintz. The motion passed by unanimous consent. Lupton said the park has been divided into a large-dog section and a small-dog section and that staff will schedule a ribbon cutting once grass cover is sufficient.
No construction contract or ceremony date was finalized at the work session; the naming was an endorsement of the committee recommendation and a procedural step toward public opening.
