Administrator Kevin Siferd noted related police matters in the staff report: officers are attending continuing-education training provided by the Clark County Park District, and the village plans to paint thin red and blue lines on streets in front of the Police and Fire stations. The council did not take separate formal action on the training or markings during the meeting.
The swearing-in was part of a broader council agenda that included personnel matters and administrative items; the council adjourned at 7:14 p.m.
