Williams County awards $1.49 million East Main Street waterline contract to Bryan Excavating

MVPO and the Village of Montpelier recommended awarding the contract to Bryan Excavating, which submitted the low bid of $1,491,895.00. A competing bid from S & S Directional Boring totaled $1,761,806.30 and the engineer’s estimate was $1,941,000.00.
The resolution awarding the contract was moved and seconded on the record and approved by unanimous roll call. The formal contract documents and the Notice of Award will be issued to Bryan Excavating so the project can proceed under the terms negotiated by MVPO and the village.
