Warren County Park District presents park upgrades, pitches trail link to Waynesville

He said the most likely alignment would be a side path along Corwin Avenue and that bridges in the corridor would be the biggest hurdle. He added the Park District is not a county department but an independent entity and that funding primarily comes from Warren County local government funds and user fees.
Council members pressed on coordination: Mr. Colvin asked whether the Park District coordinates with the Regional Planning Commission; Latham said the district confers with the commission on project planning. Latham expressed an interest in future collaboration with the Village to improve access to the Little Miami Bike Trail.
The presentation did not include committed Village funding or a firm timetable for the proposed trail; any joint work would require future staff follow-up and specific project approvals.
