Auditors give Thayne an unqualified opinion on FY2016–17 finances

David DeCoria of the accounting firm DeCoria, Maichel & Teague presented the Town of Thayne's 2016–2017 audit to the council on Dec. 21 and said the firm issued an unqualified opinion.
"The Town received an unqualified opinion and the Town’s funds are correctly stated in the financial statements," DeCoria said, congratulating the town on a successful year. The audit report was made available to the public at Thayne Town Hall, the auditor said.
Council did not record additional questions or objections in the meeting minutes related to the audit presentation.
