The Board approved a series of promotions—promotion of Heith Good to Battalion Chief, Nathan Jennings to Lieutenant, and later promotions into Battalion Chief and Captain ranks effective in late 2024 and early 2025—and clarified employment terms for several senior fire officers, including salary/exempt status adjustments recorded as resolutions clarifying terms for department leaders.
The Board also recorded several letters of intent to retire (Chief Lamar Sweigart; Inspector Scott Tigner and others), and it extended and rescinded conditional offers for multiple firefighter candidates as staffing needs evolved. The trustees authorized one-time and annual compensation items (wage exhibits and a 4% adjustment consistent with bargaining outcomes for township administration and other staff), and approved employment offers with standard contingencies: background checks, drug screening, physicals, CVSA and psychological evaluation where listed.
