Residents press Norwich trustees for action on Darbyshire Drive school drop-off; board adopts no‑parking measures and crosswalk beacons

Trustees directed staff to pursue immediate traffic-calming and enforcement measures: the board adopted a parking regulation resolution for designated streets and right of way after revising an initial measure; they approved Franklin County Engineer work to install crosswalk markings and yield-to-pedestrian signage and purchased four solar LED flashing beacon kits for the intersections of Darbyshire Drive/Cameron Road and Cameron Road/Ridgewood Drive. The County performed or estimated asphalt and marking work and the Township purchased a StatTrak traffic-data collector to monitor speeds. Trustees also committed to coordination with Hilliard City Schools about bus routing and asked the district to consider routing/transportation adjustments.
