The Otisfield Select Board on May 6 voted unanimously to pay Warrant #31 and Warrant #32. The meeting record lists the vote as unanimous (HF/AP). The board also formally accepted and signed the invoice for the 2027 Oxford County tax assessment totaling $636,932.
Administrative Assistant Julie Ward told the board that the Annual Solid Waste Report shows recycling declined by three tons; Secretary Brianne Rowell will run a Facebook campaign to encourage recycling. Ward also reported the town report has been sent to the publisher and that the Finance Committee/Select Board joint meeting was rescheduled to May 13, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. Ward said residents of a tax-acquired property hope to secure funds by the end of May for an initial payment.
The board confirmed plans for Spurrs Corner Memorial site improvements by the Town's Road Crew, postponed an Outpost update until the CEO can report, and agreed to inspect a broken railing at Heniger Park. The meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m. following a unanimous motion to adjourn recorded as RM/AP.
