Acton Select Board deputizes town clerk Gregory Kane; accepts Nancy Ruma’s resignation

The Board also accepted the resignation of Nancy Ruma from the Zoning Board of Appeals and as Elections Clerk for personal reasons. Ed Walsh moved to accept the resignation with regret; Jon Denekamp seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The Select Board asked residents interested in filling the ZBA seat to contact the Town Administrator.
Next steps: the Town Administrator will solicit interest for the vacant ZBA seat and process applications before future meetings.
