Environmental Commission presents sustainability dashboard; architects to consult on new City Hall design

Environmental Commission member Erin Roche presented a prototype Mahtomedi Sustainability Dashboard designed to measure and publish environmental metrics year to year. Roche said the dashboard would make it easier for residents and staff to track progress on environmental goals.
City Administrator Scott Neilson said the architect for the new City Hall/Fire Station will attend the June Environmental Commission meeting so the commission can provide early input on energy-efficiency and other sustainability features. Council members praised the commission’s work and staff said the dashboard will be posted on the city website.
