The Mahtomedi City Council on May 19 approved an extension of the deadline to file the PUD Final Development Plan for Prelude Village, located at 650 Wildwood Road and 199 Wedgewood Drive. City Attorney Bridget Nason presented the request and the council approved a resolution extending the filing deadline to November 3, 2026.
Phil Dommer, representing Prelude Holdings LLC, said the applicant experienced a health issue and that a consultant mistakenly omitted 30 trees from the plans. He said the options were to re-locate trees into the site or to use a fee-in-lieu to satisfy the tree requirement. Dommer said they hope to start construction in late summer and build through the winter.
