A commissioner moved to approve and sign the RW contract and to approve the PE services contract; both motions were seconded and carried. The board noted coordination with nearby schools and traffic impacts around events as part of project planning.
Commissioners also discussed linking the project with a drive to a Southern Hancock County Schools parking lot to ease traffic after football games and said staff will proceed with coordination and project management as planned.
