During the consent calendar the council considered warrants (checks 55837 through 55962) totaling $1,078,455.16 and proposed adoption of Resolution No. 25-09 (Second Amendment to the Translation Services Agreement with Patricia Lyons dba Lyons Interpreting and Translation), Resolution No. 25-10 (dissolution of inactive subcommittees) and Resolution No. 25-11 (timely use of funding for federal transportation project delivery). Several items were pulled for separate discussion; the council approved items 1, 4 and 5 by motion and later approved the pulled items individually. The minutes show unanimous approval on the recorded consent votes.
Council Member Joseph Riofrio moved to adopt Resolution No. 25-13 to form a City Council Ad Hoc Subcommittee on housing; Mayor Pro Tem Jose Alonso seconded and the measure passed 5-0. The ad hoc subcommittee is authorized to meet with housing developers to discuss housing options in the city.
Other procedural actions recorded at the meeting included approval of minutes from the Jan. 21 meeting and a motion to adjourn at 8:47 p.m. The council entered closed session for real property negotiations (APN 013-050-21) and anticipated litigation and reconvened with no reportable actions.
