The Star Valley Ranch Town Council approved a plat amendment to combine Plat 17, Lots 11–14 into a single parcel (to be identified as Plat 17, Lot 133) and granted renewals for three retail liquor licenses at Thursday's meeting.
Town Clerk Herd read the Planning Commission recommendation to approve the SVRA plat-combination application; the Planning Commission received one written objection during the 30-day notice period that the objector withdrew at the Sept. 10 public hearing. Councilman Ellis moved to approve the lot combination; the motion passed on a unanimous voice vote.
The council then considered liquor-license renewals. The Star Valley Ranch Association's retail liquor-license renewal for 1800 Cedar Creek Drive was approved after the clerk confirmed previous licensing questions had been resolved. Councilman Toolson recused herself from the votes on The Grill LLC (Three Canyons Restaurant) and The Grill LLC (The Pizza Shack) due to interests in those businesses; she did not participate in discussion or voting on those items. The council approved the Three Canyons renewal with yes votes from Mayor Rok, Councilman Ellis, Councilman Bitter and Councilman Merrill. The Pizza Shack renewal passed with votes from Mayor Rok, Councilman Bitter and Councilman Merrill; Councilman Ellis voted against that measure.
For the Pizza Shack, Mayor Rok confirmed the license covered canned alcoholic products only and that no glass would be allowed near the pool area.
