Mr. Ferguson moved the ordinance and the motion carried with all council members present voting yes (Mr. Ambrozy, Mrs. Dennis, Mr. Ferguson, Mrs. Campbell, Mr. Locke, Ms. Riffle and Mr. Seebaugh). The council also approved the February Treasurer's report and accepted the Bill Adjustments report for February during the same meeting.
City Auditor Mrs. Nolan told council that State IT auditors conducted an entrance meeting March 18 and had requested cybersecurity and network documentation; the State Auditors were scheduled to begin the 2024 entrance audit on March 24. Treasurer Mrs. Cassady said the February Treasurer's report was distributed by email and copies were available at the meeting; council voted to accept it.
The actions wrap up routine year-end and start-of-year financial controls as the city prepares for the external audit. The meeting closed with a motion by Mr. Ferguson to adjourn at 8:09 p.m., which passed unanimously.
