County Clerk Miriam Jordan told the Tift County Board that three alcohol beverage license applications had been submitted: Riya D Patel for Happy Tripp at 1949 Old Ocilla Road, Girishbhai Prajapati for Uma 2003 LLC at 5070 GA Highway 125 N in Chula, and Rajesh Gajjar for Jiya Niya LLC at 2473 U.S. Highway 82 E. Jordan said the Sheriff reviewed each application and recommended approval.
Recreation Director Tim Petrea reported that an RFP for operation and management of concession facilities received only a single bid after a month‑long advertisement, and that the single submitter satisfied the RFP qualifications. The Board indicated it would place the concession agreement and the three alcohol license items on the March 9 consent agenda.
These items were presented as routine, with law enforcement review noted for the license applications and a single qualified bidder identified for the concession contract. The work session record does not show final approvals; those would appear in the March 9 consent agenda and minutes if adopted.
