Personnel Committee sets Special Patrol Officer pay rates for school details, forwards to Finance

The Washington County Personnel Committee on June 11 amended the county’s non‑union hourly pay schedule to set new Special Patrol Officer (SPO) rates for school details and forwarded the change to the Finance Committee.
The motion to amend the pay schedule was moved by Mr. Campbell, seconded by Mrs. Clary, and adopted. The rates listed in the minutes for SPOs assigned to school details are: Argyle $29.00; Fort Ann $34.61; Fort Edward $30.49; Granville $34.56; Greenwich $32.38; Hartford $27.55; Hudson Falls $35.19; Salem $29.78; Whitehall $36.86. The committee recorded the amendment as effective July 1 and directed the change be forwarded to the Finance Committee for implementation.
The adjustment applies to Special Patrol Officers who work school details under local agreements; the minutes do not include vote tallies or estimated budgetary cost. The meeting adjourned at 9:34 a.m.
