The Village of Silver Lake Council voted unanimously June 1 to adopt Ordinance No. 30-2026, authorizing the Service Director to advertise for sale and dispose of a 2008 Ford F-250. Ms. Garrett moved to suspend the rules and to adopt the ordinance; both motions passed on 7-0 roll calls.
Service Director Ben Gregory told the council the truck had already been sold but required council approval because the sale price exceeded $1,000. Mayor Dunphy reiterated that the council must approve any sale above that threshold.
The ordinance was taken under emergency designation for this meeting and the vote concluded the item; no further amendments were offered.
Council did not record individual roll-call votes by name in the minutes but the tally was recorded as unanimous.
