At the Dec. 14 meeting the Board approved several service recognition resolutions and presented retirement awards.
Resolutions #2021‑33 (Eva A. Fabiani, Bookkeeper — 20 years) and #2021‑34 (David S. Conrad, Equipment Operator — 15 years) were approved on a motion by Timothy Woodward, seconded by Dottie Diehl, and carried unanimously. The minutes state copies of the resolutions will be presented to the awardees at a later date.
The Board approved Resolution #2021‑36 honoring Township Manager Stanley W. Seitzinger, Jr.’s retirement; the motion was moved by Steven Rothenberger, seconded by Ben Fiorito and carried unanimously. The minutes note a copy of the resolution had been presented to Mr. Seitzinger at a luncheon the previous Friday.
Separately, the Board presented a Retirement Service Recognition Award to Joseph L. Adam for 24 years of service as an Equipment Operator in the Highway Department. At the meeting close the Board presented a service recognition plaque and a resolution from the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors to Eugene F. Fried; Fried thanked the Board, saying, "It's been an honor and a privilege to serve Upper Hanover Township."
