Winthrop School Board unanimously approves multiple policies on second reading and confirms district physician

The motion to approve was moved, seconded and carried unanimously.
The board also approved the annual nomination of Jennifer McConnell to serve as the district physician, a recurring appointment used by school nurses and administrators for consults; the motion carried unanimously.
No substantive changes from first readings were reported during the meeting. The approvals were routine procedural votes recorded during the board's old- and new-business agenda items.
