Residents urge enforcement on speeding, report missing signs and vandalized camera batteries

Board members encouraged residents to document times when landscapers or others are frequently on the roads and said staff will monitor sign repairs and coordinate with the county DOT as needed. The public‑comment discussion also included a light‑hearted offer to place a carved wooden boat reading "Westport Island" at Fairy Landing, which the board said staff should follow up on.
