Buckeye Lake council OKs resolution to pursue WPCLF wastewater loan

Councilor Douglas Keener moved to suspend the rules to permit immediate consideration; Councilor Kellie Green seconded. The suspension passed on a 5-0 roll-call vote. Keener then moved to adopt Resolution 2024-07; Councilor Tom Wolfe seconded and the adoption carried 5-0.
Public Works Superintendent Toby Miller explained to the council that the WPCLF application and related paperwork were initiated under the previous administration but must now be updated with current dates and the names of the village's presently elected officials before the village can proceed with the work.
No loan amount, repayment schedule, or project timeline was specified in the special meeting minutes. The resolution as introduced authorizes filing for the WPCLF agreement and designates a repayment source but leaves specific financing terms to later documentation and agreement execution.
The council adjourned at 5:41 p.m.; the clerk recorded the next regular meeting as Aug. 26, 2024.
