Danville heritage commission adopts amended rules, signs document for Town Clerk

The Danville Heritage/Historic District Commission adopted an amended set of Rules and Procedures and signed the document for filing with the Town Clerk at its May 13, 2026 meeting.
Christi Unger, chair, moved to adopt the amended Town of Danville Heritage/Historic District Commission Procedures and Guidelines; Sayra DeVito, vice chair, seconded. The commission voted to adopt the amendments and the document was signed on May 13, 2026. Christi Unger said she would email the Town Clerk to file the new document and asked that it be placed on the town website; the commission said the prior document may still be consulted for historical details.
Earlier in the meeting the commission approved the April 8, 2026 minutes; Christi Unger moved and Sayra DeVito seconded the motion to approve the minutes as amended. Ed Lang recorded an abstention; the motion carried.
The commission also recorded its adjournment at 8:03 p.m., moved by Unger and seconded by DeVito. The adopted Rules and Procedures and the approved minutes will be available through the Town Clerk as part of the public record.
