Council members asked whether the box is village‑owned; Ross said the village owns the box and that she had explored grant options but was advised the project is small for typical nonprofit grant programs. She described community benefits including an unveiling event and said the project could align with the village's strategic plan and entrance‑way improvements.
Council thanked Ross for the presentation and indicated they would review her proposal and the materials she provided.
