Cameron Arial and Nick Miller of Zion's Bank presented Resolution 1201, authorizing Caribou County to proceed with a general obligation refunding bond series 2012 and take related actions necessary to complete the sale.
The board voted to approve the resolution after a motion by Commissioner Earl Somsen and a second from Commissioner Phil Christensen; the vote was recorded as Rasmussen yes, Christensen yes and Somsen yes. The county scheduled special telephone meetings for Jan. 13, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. and Jan. 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. to complete the refunding process.
The presentation did not include the bond size or final terms in the minutes; county staff and bond counsel will complete the financing steps at the follow-up meetings. The resolution authorizes county staff to pursue the related actions needed to issue the refunding bonds and was approved by unanimous vote.
