Scott told council the Planning and Zoning Commission voted to recommend disapproval of PL Manufacturing’s PM2501 application for an aligned data center at its June 3 meeting. He said the application generated about 12 hours of discussion across four planning meetings and staff will schedule a public council hearing likely in late August, provide required notifications and circulate a folder of materials to council in advance.
"We're looking into finding a date and time to schedule that public hearing. Likely going to be sometime in late August," Scott said, and added staff will provide council with access to the full folder of documents related to the application so members can review them well before the hearing.
Council did not take a final administrative action at this meeting; the transcript indicates the matter will appear on a future agenda for public comment and formal council consideration.
