CDD discusses $277,550 well estimate and lake maintenance; no action taken on well

The River Ridge CDD discussed irrigation and lake operations at the June 25 meeting but took no action on a proposed new well.
Eric Long of PSGRC summarized a revised McCullers Construction Services & Consulting estimate of $277,550 to install a new well and noted South Florida Water Management District irrigation restrictions and county considerations that affect long-term water use. The Board did not approve the well estimate and deferred the item for future reconsideration.
Alex Kurth of Premier Lakes reported minimal algae and submersed vegetation, credited crews for preparing the property for the rainy season, said noisy aerators will be inspected, and noted littorals will be installed in two weeks; Kurth confirmed a sound box behind a Masters residence was repaired.
District staff said they will follow up on aerator noise and provide a schedule update for littoral plantings at the next meeting. The Lake & Dry Retention Audit Report will be included on the July agenda for further review.
