Richard Hall, the county zoning administrator, presented the commission’s letter of recommendation to the board. The board approved the action by motion and recorded the acceptance in the meeting minutes; the hearing notice was set for publication and the ordinance and maps will be available for public review in advance of the hearing, according to the minutes.
The hearing will give residents and stakeholders an opportunity to review the proposed ordinance and maps and to comment publicly before the board considers further action.
