At its Nov. 20, 2024 regular meeting held by Zoom, the Holly Hills Water and Sanitation District Board of Directors approved a set of routine administrative and financial actions.
The Board authorized Director Thomas Thomasson to approve monthly bills while Director Linda Rhea moves residence, then, on motion by Director Rhea and second by Director Thomasson, unanimously approved accounts payable totaling $94,954.94 for the period ending Nov. 20, 2024. District accountant Mike Bakarich noted Metro will pull funds on the due date and identified Highstreet as the District—roker for insurance.
The Board also approved cancelling the Dec. 18, 2024 regular meeting after discussion and unanimously appointed the District Accountant to prepare and file the 2024 Application for Exemption from Audit. In other administrative business, the Board approved an amendment to the Agreement for Professional Management Services with Public Alliance, LLC to implement a 2025 fee increase after Justin Janca reviewed the proposed amendment.
These approvals were all unanimous among the directors present; Director Scott Kemmeries bsence was excused earlier in the meeting. The Board then heard operational and engineering updates, including an operations recommendation to use plastic infrastructure for new construction and an engineering status report that 2024 repairs are about half complete.
The meeting adjourned after the board completed the consent and administrative agenda items.
