The Rye Budget Committee accepted the resignation of member Richard Furber on June 4. The motion to accept the resignation was made by Frank Drake, seconded by Kate Dumas, and passed 6-1.
Eric Parrott told the committee he is interested in serving out the remainder of Furber’s 2026 term but is awaiting clearance from his employer before being appointed. The committee did not record a formal appointment at the meeting.
Earlier in the meeting the committee unanimously approved the draft minutes from its May 13 meeting (8-0). At 7:35 p.m. Vice Chair Kate Dumas moved to adjourn; Richard Furber seconded and the meeting ended.
