Hidden Lake plans pool robot outlet, confirms 2025 pool and dock dates and praises road contractor

At the Hidden Lake Association meeting on Feb. 18, Recreation Director Mikki Falcone said she is coordinating mailbox cleanup with the postmaster and has arranged for Alex Chase to install a 110-volt outlet outside the pool house in spring to power a pool-cleaning robot. Falcone said she is evaluating two robot models — the Maytronics Liberty 400 and the Beatbot A100 Pro — and will provide comparison information to the board for a decision planned in April.
Fred Pasler, Waterfront Director, said he is ordering boat stickers for the summer season and confirmed operational dates for 2025: docks in and pool house open May 3; pool opens May 24 and will run the same hours as last year; pool closes Sept. 1; docks out and pool house close Oct. 18.
On roads, President Chris Vachon reported that he and Road Director Joe Traniello have met regularly with contractor Home Land and instructed crews to ensure major hills (Kennedy Brook, Red Coat, Tigola Trail and Rice Brook) receive sufficient sanding. The board praised Home Land and Road Director Joe Traniello for road quality during the winter season.
The board also discussed a five-year planning meeting scheduled for Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Davis Public Library to develop longer-term priorities.
