The Garfield County School District No. 16 Board of Directors voted Feb. 11 to approve an intergovernmental agreement between the district and the Garfield County Urban Renewal Commission.
Superintendent Dr. Jennifer A. Baugh introduced the agreement and took questions from board members before the motion. The motion to approve (moved by Keith Gronewoller; seconded by Brent Baker) carried on a roll-call vote: Baker — aye; Gronewoller — aye; Stewart — abstain; Tomasulo — abstain; Whelan — aye.
Board members discussed the agreement briefly during the meeting; no amendments were offered on the floor. The motion carried, authorizing the district to enter into the intergovernmental arrangement as presented.
