Cheyenne County commissioners approve warrants, contracts and road purchases

The Cheyenne County Board of Commissioners approved a slate of routine financial and procurement items at its regular meeting, including warrants and payroll, a county IT support contract, road equipment repairs and supplies, and other consent items.
The board voted to approve accounts payable and payroll warrants and to accept the minutes as presented. Commissioners then approved Neighborhood Revitalization Program (NRP) rebates that were on the agenda.
Road staff asked for and received approval to purchase a replacement turbo for Cat loader unit 602 at a Foley quote of $1,730.13. Road staff also sought authorization to buy 10 tons of cold patch from APAC at a not-to-exceed amount of $2,470; that purchase was approved by voice vote. A county vehicle repair (fuel injectors) was authorized not to exceed $4,000.
The board approved the county’s annual software and support agreement with CIC. Commissioners also voted to switch the courthouse primary internet service from Granite to Idea Tech on a three-year contract for $170 per month plus a $100 installation fee; staff will coordinate e-signature and implementation.
Several short executive sessions for non-elected personnel were held and the board returned to the public record without reporting any decision.
The meeting closed after routine business and scheduling updates.
