She said a licensed, bonded contractor has begun restoration work on cracks and bonding at the concrete edges and that the club expects to open the lake on schedule.
Spina said the club added a luau fundraiser (July 18) and the lake’s 75th‑anniversary celebration (August 8) to the events calendar. Council members thanked volunteers and said the contract renewal will be placed on the agenda for legislation; no formal vote occurred at the meeting.
