Trustees voted to adopt Resolution No. 2024-063 on Nov. 20 to transfer additional revenues into the township’s fire levy fund and request an amended certificate of estimated resources from the Butler County Auditor.
Julie Jo, the township fiscal officer, described the measure as a technical transfer to allow staff flexibility on how full-time salaries are charged through the end of the year. "We're going to shift the full-time folks over to the EMS fund just to kind of give the fire fund a little bit of a break," she said.
The board conducted a roll call vote and recorded: Trustee Bow — yes; Trustee Young — yes; Trustee MCG — yes. No abstentions were recorded. Jo said she would send the amended certificate to the Butler County Auditor that night so the fiscal change could be processed.
The resolution was procedural in nature and was intended to adjust internal fund accounting and ensure payroll and operating costs align with the township’s current staffing and revenue mix.
