Baltimore council approves new committee schedule, Opera House door contractor and Tree Commission members

On a motion by Council member Rick Foreman, seconded by Council member Gar Phillips, council voted 5-0 to change committee schedules so Finance and Service meet on the 2nd Monday and Rules and Safety meet on the 4th Monday. Council discussed public access and notification; the VA said the village posts on its website and social media and the mayor asked for a reminder that the full council meeting will still occur.
Foreman moved and James Carroll seconded to authorize the Village Administrator to proceed with hiring Rosatti to replace the front doors on the Opera House. VA Matthew Nihiser said Rosatti appeared to be the lowest quote and had previously done window work for the village; council approved the motion 5-0.
Under new business, the mayor presented a list of volunteers to serve on the Tree Commission. Council member Gar Phillips moved to approve the appointments, Foreman seconded, and the motion passed 5-0.
