During committee reports on April 8, Councilmember Zach Hebebrand said the Health & Welfare Committee met that evening and recommended the Village ban short-term home rentals. The committee’s recommendation would grandfather the three existing properties currently operating as short-term rentals.
The recommendation was presented to the full council as a committee report; no ordinance or vote to adopt a ban occurred at the April 8 meeting. Council members and staff did not record further action or scheduling on the floor at this meeting.
