The rabies clinic is scheduled for Aug. 20, 2026; the town clerk will administer the incentive. The town estimates the cost will be about $50–$100. After an executive session the board adopted Resolution No. 118‑26 authorizing Sam Dyer to proceed with processing Sharon Garden's retirement paperwork to ensure the retirement is completed in an orderly fashion; the transcript records that prior paperwork had not been completed properly. (Motion: Mr. Deyo; second: Mrs. Turner; roll call 5–0.)
Separately, the board agreed to defer setting a public hearing on Local Law #1 (Kennel Law) until the Clinton County Planning Board reviews and approves the draft. No hearing date was set for the kennel law at this meeting.
