Tremont board to place Pacific Hall reserve transfer on Town Meeting warrant; approves manager employment agreement

The Select Board discussed use of remaining Pacific Hall Reserve funds and voted unanimously to include an article on the 2026 Town Meeting warrant to transfer those funds to the General Fund. The motion to include the warrant article was made by Kevin Buck and seconded by McKenzie Jewett.
Later in the meeting the board voted to enter executive session under the statutory authority 1 MRSA 405.6.A to discuss personnel matters the manager said could reasonably be expected to damage employees’ reputations or violate privacy. The board met in executive session from 6:34 p.m. until 6:49 p.m.
After returning to open session, the Select Board approved the employment agreement between Jesse Dunbar and the Town of Tremont dated March 2, 2026. Kevin Buck moved to approve the agreement and McKenzie Jewett seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
