Guffey Community Charter School board approves agenda, minutes and consent agenda; acknowledges monitoring report

Dean Wilson called the meeting of the Guffey Community Charter School Board to order at 5:30 p.m. and confirmed attendance including Chris Petereson, Amy Owen, Lawrence Epps, Beth Hall, Kelli Burke and Lynda MacDonald.
Chris Petereson moved to approve the meeting agenda; Lawrence Epps seconded and the motion passed with five ayes. Lawrence Epps moved and Amy Owen seconded to approve the minutes from the Oct. 9, 2024 regular meeting; that motion also passed with five ayes. The minutes record the Oct. 9, 2024 date for the prior meeting, a date that appears inconsistent with the board’s Nov. 13, 2023 meeting record and is noted here for clarity.
Chris Petereson moved and Beth Hall seconded to approve the consent agenda; the motion passed with five ayes. The board discussed administrator monitoring reports E-4 and EL-11, after which Lawrence Epps moved and Dean Wilson seconded to acknowledge receipt of the monitoring report; that motion passed with five ayes. Board members also acknowledged review of governance policies GP-2, GP-4, GP-9, GP-10, GP-11 and GP-15 as part of routine self-monitoring.
Chris Petereson moved to adjourn; Lawrence Epps seconded and the meeting adjourned at 6:01 p.m.
