The Andover Select Board unanimously approved an agreement with Smith & Co. to provide auditing services and authorized installing intranet service at the Town Garage provided the town can obtain a multiple-hookup discount from the internet provider.
The intranet installation motion was amended by Brianne Bailey to request a discount for multiple hookups and passed without objection. Board members noted the Town Hall had previously been approved for internet service and the Highway account budgeted for an additional hookup.
The board discussed Town Hall ceiling repairs, a possible additional sidewalk paving area and Transfer Station ramp bid packet deadlines; the ramp bid packet was resent with a corrected deadline of Aug. 26, 2025. A Pike Industries quote for paving was noted as lower than another contractor but scheduling constraints meant work might not be completed until October.
Administrative follow-up tasks included verifying vendor discounts for multiple hookups and confirming contractor availability and pricing for sidewalk work.
