The China Select Board on April 7 took several administrative actions: it authorized pursuit of sale for tax-acquired properties through a real estate agent, approved use of $3,414 in unspent TIF funds for Project C.2, and agreed to sign letters of support for Congressionally Directed Spending applications for emergency dispatch improvements in Waterville and Augusta as well as for Delta Ambulance.

Chair Wayne Chadwick also voiced opposition during member comments to a Maine DEP rule change requiring the transfer station to collect fishing gear at a special station and to paving under the brush pile. Manager Rebecca Hapgood reminded the board of Patriots’ Day municipal closures and the next Select Board meeting on April 22.
