Beekmantown board adopts routine budget, administrative and parks measures; multiple resolutions pass 5-0
Summary
At its May 18 meeting the Beekmantown Town Board unanimously adopted resolutions 106–114 covering minutes approval, monthly fund resolutions, playground equipment transfer, and other routine actions, and accepted auditing claims before adjourning at 7:35 p.m.
The Beekmantown Town Board approved a package of routine administrative and fiscal measures at its May 18, 2026 meeting, adopting resolutions 106 through 114 and accepting auditing claims by recorded roll calls.
The board first approved the April 20 monthly meeting minutes and the May 4 work session minutes after a motion by Mr. Deyo, seconded by Mrs. Turner. The board then adopted a series of April 2026 financial resolutions: Resolution 107-26 (General Fund), 108-26 (Highway Fund), 109-26 (Water Improvement), 110-26 (SWO1) and 111-26 (SWO2). Each finance resolution was moved and seconded as recorded and passed on roll-call votes of 5–0.
Later in the meeting the board passed Resolution 112-26 to accept playground equipment offered by BCS following a $1 bid, and Resolution 113-26 authorizing the solicitation of bids to resurface the pickleball courts. The board concluded by passing Resolution 114-26 to accept auditing claims and issue checks. Where motions are recorded in the minutes, the mover/second are as follows: 106-26 (moved Deyo; second Turner); 107-26 (moved Turner; second Deyo); 108-26 (moved Deyo; second Sand); 109-26 (moved Turner; second Sand); 110-26 (moved Deyo; second Turner); 111-26 (moved Turner; second Sand); 112-26 (moved Sand; second Turner); 113-26 (moved Sand; second Turner); 114-26 (moved Deyo; second Turner).
All votes recorded in the minutes show the five members — Mr. Deyo, Mrs. Turner, Mr. Menard, Mr. Sand and Mr. Dyer — voting in favor (5–0) on the resolutions noted.
The meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m. Tammy Menard, Town Clerk, signed the minutes as respectfully submitted.
