Amy Gar, committee chair and Capital Programs representative, led discussion for the first firm, ASD SKY, where members highlighted the firm’s full-discipline team and local staff presence but flagged limited completed comparable projects and minimal schedule/budget detail. After discussion and bonus/performance adjustments, the committee recorded a total consensus score of 94 points for ASD SKY.
Baker Barios Architects drew attention for its longevity, multiple Florida offices and a team the panel said included local experience; the committee recorded a total consensus score of 99. Fer Wagner & Architects received one of the session’s highest totals — 103 points — after members cited extensive public‑sector experience that aligned closely with the county’s scope, including libraries, fire stations and other municipal facilities.
Other firms reviewed in the session included Kier’s Engineering & Design (total recorded in the transcript: 68 points), CPH Consulting (92 points), CSA Central Inc. (79 points), Foley Bryant Architecture (86 points), Forefront Architecture and Engineering (56 points) and several additional firms with totals recorded in the hearing.
