At its Nov. 12 meeting, the Village of North Baltimore council approved a personnel recommendation from Mayor Aaron Patterson to hire Mason Davis as a part‑time clerk of council at $20.00 per hour, effective Nov. 3, 2025. Council member Beaupry moved to hire; Council member Engard seconded; the motion was recorded as approved by those present.
Council also approved payment of bills totaling $693,107.07 after a motion by Council member Richmond and a second by Council member Hefner. The minutes record the motion as approved by the council.
Under other new business, Clerk of Council Dee Hefner said she intends to request gift-card donations from local businesses to be used as prizes for the Light Up North Baltimore 2025 contest. Council agreed to allocate $200 for contest expenses and to meet informally on Dec. 22 to cast their votes.
